NC Multi-day Camping & Fishing
This is our favorite way to go about bringing customers out for a very memorable fly fishing experience! The default option is for 3 nights of camping, with two full days of fishing. This can either be some form of car camping along forest roads near remote creeks, or backcountry backpacking trips.
Our Style:
First of all, our trips are for ALL LEVELS OF EXPERIENCE! You should not at all feel intimidated to join us, we love beginners! Truly. First and foremost, Wild Waters Guiding puts emphasis on creating a memorable and enjoyable experience over anything else. Our trips are not about catching the biggest fish or the most fish but rather about bringing you to the most amazing locations and having a great time. That said, we’re gonna help you catch some great trout! No camping experience is needed, either. While we don't provide camping gear, we can help you figure out what gear is needed to get you outfitted.
Fishing expectations: species of trout and size of trout will vary depending on what type of camping we do and what your personal priorities are.
No fly fishing gear is required. We will supply it for you, if needed! Choose that option in the checkout process.
For car camping, we will provide certain camping amenities such as a portable fridge/freezer to share, a two-burner propane stove and cookware, propane, a pocket stove for boiling water, first-aid kits, and an axe and saw for firewood. You are expected to bring all other camping gear including a tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, camp chair, headlamp, etc. For backpacking, you'll need to have your own backpack, bring a tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, and a headlamp. Generally we can provide the rest of the gear that is needed.
Due to the popularity of this tour, you must cancel your tour at least 7 days prior to the date of our tour together in order to receive a full refund so that we're able to rebook your date with a different customer. No refunds will be issued if you cancel your tour six days or less before our scheduled tour together.
